Before you book
Is tattooing under anaesthesia safe?
No anaesthetic is completely risk-free, and you should know that before you book. We reduce the risk the ways that matter: a licensed anaesthetist, a hospital operating theatre rather than a studio, two medical check-ups beforehand, and continuous monitoring. The hospital's doctors make the final decision, and they will say no if it isn't right for you. Please also talk to your own doctor before you travel.
How long does it take?
A full arm sleeve takes around 5 hours in the chair, a full back around 7, and a full bodysuit around 20, split across two sessions. The quote tool shows the plan for your design.
How much is the deposit?
20% of your quote holds your dates. If the hospital's doctors don't approve you for anaesthesia, the deposit is refunded in full or moved to an awake session, your choice.
How long should I stay in Bali?
Plan at least 5 nights after your final session so we can check your healing, and avoid sea and pool swimming for the first two weeks. The medical team will tell you how soon you can fly.
Can someone come with me?
Yes. For anaesthesia the hospital requires an adult to collect you after the session, so we recommend travelling with a friend or partner.
